In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem!
Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. Looks freakin amazing on Max though with a 1440p monitor :3. that slider will drain the PC performance if you slide it to the max (unless you own a very powerful rig). it does not affect the screen resolution in any way. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files! the resolution slider in the game refers to the resolution of the textures, UI and the vfx. When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! A fighter with a great roster and exciting brawls, let down by an undercooked singleplayer component. Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!. For me, when each of us use a controller, we can play without any problem. I dont know what could be the problem for you because it contradicts my experience.
